HOLLY RESAVAGE – 9/8/22 – Holly came to rescue with multiple health issues. Although she suffered with severe arthritis & neurological issues, she never complained. I don’t think Holly had a mean bone in her body. With time she came to enjoy meeting people on walks & liked going for rides in the car to the shore. I knew I wouldn’t have her for a long time, but never expected to have to say good-bye so soon. It would have been 2 years this December 22nd that I had her, hence her name Holly. She was my Christmas present. Holly put up a good fight, but in the end her body couldn’t take any more. I miss her everyday & can’t believe she’s gone. I can take some comfort in knowing she was happy with her Cairn buddy Brophy, her people who loved her, good food & a safe place to live.
