ABOVE & BEYOND ENGLISH SETTER RESCUE NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue (A&BESR) organization’s general policy is to provide English Setter adoption service to prospective adopters (minimum age 21) in the continental United States and certain provinces of Canada without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, culture, language, sex, sexual orientation, age, and mental or physical disability.
However, A&BESR retains broad discretion in adoption and placement decisions to ensure that our English Setters are protected from situations where they might be put at risk. Our goal is to place our English Setters in loving homes that will be permanent placements. To satisfy this goal, the age and physical health of the prospective adopter, as well as the age and physical health of our English Setter, may be considered in certain situations in which our volunteers determine that the prospective setter adoption may not be appropriate for our English Setter. Furthermore, as a volunteer organization, A&BESR does not have the resources to provide placement of our English Setters outside the continental United States and certain provinces of Canada.
