PEPPER EVEREST – 2012- 2021 – Pepper came to us as Dr. Pepper, a stray from a shelter in Kansas. A&B and 20 transport volunteers got him to us in PA. Soon after we got him home, he charged at us playfully, with a big setter smile and wagging tail, then leaned into us, rubbing against us like a giant cat! Gene and I quickly knew that Pep was not a foster dog; he had adopted us! Pepper lived every moment with joy, running in the yard, patrolling for birds, barking loudly, hanging out with our other dogs, and lounging on his favorite bed. He was active until his last day on earth. We love you, Pep! Run free at Rainbow Bridge, until we meet again.
