Behavior: Mae is very quiet and loving but loves to run in the yard looking for birds!

Activity Level: Laid back but loves to go for a walk or a romp around the yard. 

Fence: I would say a fence is necessary. Mae pulls on the leash and loves to just go out on her own to explore. 

Medical History: She has a low grade heart murmur. She is on Enalapril at this time to help her heart work more efficiently. Current on vaccines and heart worm preventative. Microchipped and spayed

Foster Comments: We are a senior dog family and this lovely lady has fit right in. She is such a joy to have around. Independent but also wants to be with her human. She would enjoy a retired couple that is home with her often and enjoys exploring as much as she does.

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog. Transports to far West states, from Eastern states, may have additional restrictions.
