SHILOH

Shiloh AB#19-27-3 F, 1 1/2 Years

Name: Shiloh

Gender: Female

Age: 1.5 years old

Size/Weight: 38lbs. She needs to put in some weight, so she will likely be around 45-50lbs once at healthy weight.

Color: Black and White

Breed: Llewellin Setter

Socialization/training: Better! She now knows basic commands like sit and stay.

Good with Children: Yes

Good with Dogs: GREAT

Good with Cats: GREAT

House trained: Yes

Crate trained: Yes! She loves her crate.

Leash trained: Not really. She does well with a training collar, but still pulls. She’s strong!

Activity Level: Very high energy! Shiloh needs a home where someone is home for most of the day so she can play in the yard as much as she can. With the training, she would love to run with you and hike, but should never be allowed off leash when outside of a fenced in yard.

Fence: A strong, sturdy, fence is required for Shiloh. The higher the better, but she has not been known to jump. She will however find the smallest hole or gap to wedge through and go out. She has never dug, and I don’t see her ever wanted to dig out. She I simply curious and loves to explore!

Behavior: Everyone loves her! Shiloh is very active. She does have some nervous energy, but once she feels secure in her home, that should subside. She is a typical puppy even though she is a little over 1.5 years old. Chew bones are a must for Shiloh, she doesn’t chew furniture, but she will steal your socks! She won’t eat them, but she will chew on them. She will be your best friend. She is incredibly goofy. There isn’t a day that goes by without us just laughing over the way she gallops down the hallway and bounces off the wall. She is so clumsy! She is still learning about the inside life and slides like a little kid in socks around the corners of the house. She will curl up as close as possible to you and cuddle for hours. At night, she sleeps in the crate, but before we put her in, she curls up by our heads and gives us a kiss goodnight. . She is not a jumper, which is great! She sits right at your feet waiting for love! She deserves so much love

Medical History: Shiloh has been given a clean bill of health! She is up to date on all vaccinations. She does so well at the vet too! She has had blood work, been microchipped, and spayed. All went very well and took it like a champ!

Foster Comments: The family that adopts Shiloh will be so lucky to have such a goofy, loving, absolutely beautiful, best friend. She deserves a family that is able to be home with her for most of the day. She LOVES to be outside. When I say that she loves to be outside, I mean that she is outside for about 3 hours at a time. We leave the back door open for her, so she can come in, grab some water, and run right back out. She rides well in the car but should not be trusted with the windows down. She is just not used to being a domestic dog just yet, so she is very curious about everything. She fills our home with so much joy. Her coat is beautiful and so incredibly soft. The loves that she shows you and everyone that she comes in contact with is the sweetest thing. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Shiloh would do best in a home where there is another dog that would like a buddy. Shiloh is also amazing with cats. She plays with ours all the time! Shiloh and our dog have become best friends. Lacey was able to kinda show Shiloh the ropes, and that made her transition so much smoother. We couldn’t have asked for a more incredible foster.
