House trained: WORK IN PROGRESS. HE IS A LEG LIFTER! WE ARE STILL WORKING ON IT AND HE IS GREATLY IMPROVED BUT WE KEEP HIS VELCRO DIAPER ON

Activity Level:  SCOUT IS VERY LOW KEY. SLEEPS ALOT

Fence: Yes. HE IS AFRAID OF LOUD NOISES AND BOLTS IF HE IS AFRAID.

Behavior:  SCOUT IS GETTING USED TO BEING LOVED ON. HE IS VERY AFRAID OF LOUD NOISES, GUN SHOT, FIREWORKS, THUNDER, ETC. HE DOES FINE IN THE HOUSE WITH THE NOISE BUT IF HE IS OUTSIDE OR ON A LEASH HE WILL TRY TO RUN AWAY FROM THE SOUND.

Medical History:  HE IS UP TO DATE ON VACCINES AND HAS BEEN THROUGH HIS HEARTWORM TREATMENT 

Foster Comments:  SCOUT IS VERY SMART. HE LEARNED THE LAY OUT OF OUR HOUSE WITHIN A FEW DAYS. HE LOVES HIS CRATE AND WILL LAY IN THERE MOST OF THE DAY. HE DOES NOT LIKE CHANGE AND WILL CRY/WHINE AND PACE IF SOMETHING CHANGES. HE IS A SENIOR WHO WILL REQUIRE SOMEONE WITH A LOT OF LOVE, PATIENCE AND COMPASSION TO HELP HIM LIVE OUT HIS DAYS COMFORTABLY.

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog. Transports to far West states, from Eastern states, may have additional restrictions
