Good with Dogs: yes, would love to have a dog buddy or two to hang around with. Pippin cannot be an only dog, he needs buddies to continue growing, playing and learning from.

Behavior: Pippin is Very attached to people. He gives kisses, but is not obsessive about it. Pippin is great with other dogs.

Activity Level:   Moderately active , playful, and energetic, does play with toys. Pippin is a Happy dog and likes going to agility class to watch.

Fence: Pippin must have fenced yard

Medical History: Borderline heartworm positive, on prevention. He is on prevention and should be retested in 6 months. He  had a positive result, followed by a negative, and finally borderline positive. So he likely will not need anything else but will need to be seen by a vet in six months. Labs and xrays normal. Had ear infections, but on salmon based diet seems to do well. Current on vaccines, microchipped and neutered.

Foster Comments: Pippin should not be an only dog. He will thrive in a home with other dogs to play with and to continue learning from. Very nice, balanced dog. Attentive, playful, good at learning words. Loves to ride in the car, knows outside, potty, hungry, here, sit. A little shy of some men. Has a little separation anxiety but is not destructive and is learning quickly. He would love to be in a home with another dog or two.

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog. Transports to far West states, from Eastern states, may have additional restrictions.
