MR. WEASLEY AB#19-009 – M, 1 1/2- 2 Years
Foster dog name: Mr. Weasley
Age: 1.5 yrs or so…
Size/Weight: 42 lbs
Color: Black & White
Breed: Setter Mix
Good with Children: Unknown
Good with Dogs: Yes, very playful
Good with Cats: Unknown
House trained: Yes, whines at door if needs to go out.
Crate trained: Yes, but doesn’t love it. He cries for a few minutes in the morning and then gets used to it quickly.
Leash trained: somewhat
Behavior: Still very puppy, play biting, loves ropes and wrestling. Interested in people wants to be in the same room, cuddly and loves sleeping in the bed/couch with people.
Activity Level: Playful, still needs training on what he can and can’t chew. But loves rope toys!!
Fence: Mr. Weasley is so full of energy and still acts like a puppy in many ways. I believe to help expel his energy it would be greatly beneficial to have a fenced in yard. Or someone who runs and walks quite a often.
Medical History: He was neutered just before he arrived at our house. He is up to date on shots and in very good health. He was very skinny when he arrived, but he has put on 2bls and is starting to fill out. You can still see his ribs prominently.
Foster Comments: This is a very sweet boy and I can see great potential in him. He doesn’t have a bag of issues like some fosters do. I don’t believe he was in a home without love, maybe just one who wasn’t expecting to have a dog that acts like a puppy at a year and a half old.
Adoption fee: $300.00
Foster Location: Raleigh, NC
