MALI YUNGK – 2010- 2013 – We adopted Mali in 2012 through A&B. She came from Missouri to Virginia. She had lived outside year round before coming to us, so had to be house-trained and learn using steps, etc. She joined another rescue setter, both of whom had replaced our two other setters who died within a month of each other. I was recovering from cancer surgery, and Mali was part of my recovery. Ever calm, loving, easy going, she was the most no-fuss dog of the 9 dogs we have had over the last 30 years. She was the companion to three of our other setters. She got us through my illness, adjusting to retirement, a move to another state, and COVID. We loved her so much, and she is missed by us – particularly our girl Darby who is now by herself. This is her on her last day – still beautiful on the inside and outside.
