JADE SHEEHAN – 2011-2021 – In her three years with me, Jade brought laughter and joy, curiosity and a gift for finding the adventure in exploring our neighborhood and park. She was loving and playful and so affectionate. She was also happy when the neighbor’s cat would greet her and she remembered all the places we had found squirrels and rabbits on previous walks. Through her, I met human and animal neighbors, learned our surroundings in all seasons, and helped small children overcome their fear of dogs. She came to me after losing her first human at a time of great sorrow and loneliness in my life. Together, we came through the grief and she brought joy back into our home. Her final illness was short and she left this life surrounded by love and in my arms. I am so grateful for the time we had together.
