Socialization/training: If you are looking for a dog for your family, you found it in Jude.   Jude is extremely friendly.  He is a great companion.  He listens to every command. Jude is the perfect family dog.

Good with Children:  great with children from ages 3 and up

Good with Dogs:  Loves to play with any dog, small or big

House trained:  yes, never has an accident or marks in the house

Crate trained:  yes, he will go into the crate and lay quiet but doesn’t like it

Leash trained:  walks on a leash without pulling

Activity Level: Jude is very playful. He likes to play chase the ball or romp with another dog.  He loves to play with toys.  He loves being out of doors.  Jude likes to lay out in the yard and watch the world go by. 

Fence: Jude needs a place to be able to run and play without being on a leash.  A fence is necessary. But he is not a jumper, so a 4 ft would be okay.

Behavior: Jude loves to be petted.  He seeks your attention a several times a day but other than that he is comfortable being outside.  He loves to be outside.  Prefers to lay outside than in the house during the day.  

Medical History:  Jude had heart worm but has been through the treatment and no longer any signs or heart worms or damage.  Up to date with all shots and on Nexgard for flea and ticks and heart worm medication TriHeart.

Foster Comments: Jude is a nearly perfect dog.  He is easy to get along with anyone or another dog.  He has been with small dogs and larger dogs.  He always just wants to play.  He sits on request, walks on a leash, comes when called, waits patiently to be fed.  He thinks everyone is ready to love him because he is so loving.  He is still a little hesitant when he isn’t sure what is happening.  When you give him a treat, he holds back to make sure he is not going to get hurt if he takes it.  He is hesitant to come inside if he is not sure why you want him in.  He doesn’t like to be enclosed in small places such as small rooms like a bathroom.  He has never been destructive in the house.  He doesn’t chew on anything but his toys and he loves toys.  If you want a near perfect dog for a family, Jude is the dog you need.
