Behavior:   Boy loves to cuddle, he just wants to be with you. he has no problem just lying there waiting for me while I work. He goes in the crate while I am home working with clients. he is very laid back and easy going. I have a very active house and he is great with all kinds of people and pets that come here.

Activity Level:  Great on a leash when I walk him, but if I don’t walk him for a day he is fine with playing in the backyard or following me around. He gets very excited for squirrels and birds. Loves to get his teeth brushed.

Fence:   Fence would be great but not necessary. I use a long leash.

Medical History:  Neutered, rabies and other vaccines up to date. HW negative and on preventative. Microchipped. Felix originates from Turkey where Leishmaniasis is endemic. He was tested before coming to the USA and his test was clear, but the parasite can remain dormant in the system for many years, so potential adopters must be willing to commit to annual testing for the next 7 years.  Typically, the test needs to be sent to a special lab, but any regular vet can draw the blood and send it to the lab.  The test typically costs $120-150.

Foster Comments:  He is the best foster I have had.  He is simply the perfect pup for any family. He loves kids but is so laid back I would not worry about him knocking them over. He just wants to be with his humans and go on lazy walks, but watch out for those squirrels. Be prepared for him to find your lap when you settle down at night. He will grudgingly go to sleep in his crate if you prefer but would like to be in bed with you. Loves to be outdoors. He will lay outside and spend hours soaking in the outdoor scents and sounds.
