Medical History: Dru’s check ups have been perfect. He is neutered, UTD on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick/heart worm preventative. He tested negative for heartworms and Leishmaniasis. Dru came to us from Turkey where Leishmaniasis is endemic. He was tested right before coming to the USA and his tests were negative, but the parasite can remain dormant for up to 7 years, so his new family must commit to testing him annually for the next 7 years.
Foster Comments: Dru is sweet and is a pleasure to have around. He bonds well with people, and loves his people. He will follow you all over, from room to room when he can, and loves company. He is bright and playful. He will play fetch and bring the toy back to you. He sleeps well at night, does best when he knows where you are, prefers if he can see you or sleep with you.
Dru must be able to go on furniture, I have not been able to break that habit. Dru is a good eater. He is curious and smart, and wants to please. Dru is delightful and will make a wonderful addition to a home of one person or many people.
