Behavior: Allie is both independent and attentive. She is aware of where her humans are and likes to be in the same room. She generally lies at our feet or in a dog bed, but would love to be on the couch or bed with you.

Activity Level: She is playful and will run outside, chase a ball, chase one of the resident dogs. Indoors she enjoys a dog bed and sometimes wrestling with a resident dog.

Fence REQUIRED: She gets the zoomies and runs wide open. She enjoys scoping out the yard and checking on her surroundings.

Medical History: Allie is spayed, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped (twice).

Foster Comments: If you are looking for your valentine, this just might be the girl for you! She is an absolute sweetheart!

Allie found herself in the shelter as a stray. Although she was microchipped and her family contacted several times, they never came. We have no idea why!!

So far, she is as close to perfect as they come. Allie is a quiet girl that we have only heard bark to alert us. She is playful without having over the top energy. She will go into her crate with the door open to rest. She likes to be in the same room as her human and will follow you or watch you if you move to another room.

She has more fur than an English setter so she will need to be brushed. We don’t think she was in the past so she is still getting used to the brush. She enjoys toys, but likes to gnaw on them so the soft ones don’t tend to last.

Allie is looking for love – are you the one for her?
