Raigain is a 10 month old male Irish Setter who had a broken leg at 3 months old which was caused by blunt force and not an accident. It was not taken care of correctly and due to the cost of the now needed surgery, his owner decided it was easier to put him on Craigslist for free.
Above and Beyond Setter Rescue saved him, but due to so many other dogs needing care, their funds are limited. I am asking for help to cover the cost of orthopaedic surgery called femoral head ostectomy or FHO. This will enable Raigain to have better use of his right, rear leg and be able to run and play and enjoy the great life he so deserves.
Surgery will be done soon and he can start his recovery and rehabilitation.
He is such a sweet, happy boy and eager to please everyone! He will make someone a wonderful and loving companion. Above & Beyond Eng Setter Rescue is so thankful to all for helping this Irish lad to have a bright future and forget the past! Thank you.
