Foster Comments: Her skills include getting along with six other setters in her foster home, sleeping in her crate, riding well in the car, sitting and laying down for treats, coming when called most of the time, and going potty outside. She’s a sweet cuddly girl who was originally at a hunting preserve. Unfortunately she did not do well with harsh training methods. She is learning to trust again and is a bit shy of older men and some loud noises. She is doing well as a house dog even though things are new and different. Puff loves her stuffed toys and is learning to retrieve. She needs a solid fenced yard as she will not do well with invisible fence or leash walking as her only form of exercise. She is hoping for a home with another easygoing dog to play with and a pet parent to continue her training.
9/20/2019 Update: She's doing great. Also so far good with cats but she doesn't live with them, just intros at the clinic. I have a video on my phone if you want that. Plays well with other dogs, likes kids. Rides well in the car but is crated, and will crate with my other dogs. Submissive to the other dogs generally, very easy going with them.
