Behavior: Loves to cuddle with you, wants attention but can chew on a bone or play with her ball by herself. Has separation anxiety. Doesn’t do well in a crate.

Activity Level: Playful at times, but typically laid back. She loves going outside to sniff new things. She is a bird dog at heart and will point and hunt anything that moves. She loves swimming.

Fence: Fence is highly recommended. She is a runner. She can also climb over 5 foot chain link fence gates.

Medical History: Has a cherry eye (extruded tear duct), unknown allergy which leads to irritated skin. Multiple inconclusive tests have been done, food trials, etc with no effect on health.


Foster Comments: Bella is a really kind, gentle, and sweet dog. She loves giving and receiving affection. She knows basic obedience commands, and is a quick learner, very smart. She rings door bells on door to go outside when she wants to. She can be territorial about her body, ecspecially when she is having an allergic episode. She has growled at male vets and visitors who unknowingly pet her rear end. A full medical folder can be provided for the last 3 years of ownership.

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog.
