CHESTER MARTIN – 2012 – 2024 – Your morning breakfast/all around stomps for food were a constant percussion in our now quiet home. We miss the way you chuffed your cheeks to get attention, lads and dad’s night staying up, your wiry twig filled hair in our hands, the way you used to bring in the whole backyard with you when you came inside. You had a real “make it worth my while” quality to you when you didn’t want to do something that always made us laugh, and we never had to ask you to look out for your sister Heidi (or when to tell her to cool it). She misses you just as much as Mom and Dad. You helped mellow out other young dogs we fostered, taught them your old man Setter ways before sending them off to happy homes the better for it. Chester passed peacefully at home in one of his favorite spots, with all his favorite things right up to the end. We’ll see you again and soon our moss-man. The four of us love you buddy ❤
