Training Level: Coby needs to continue his education. He is doing well on house training and is learning some manners. Coby rides crated in the car, and his skills include riding with his foster siblings in the same crate, sit, settle, and off commands.

Medical History: Neutered. Coby does have some tummy sensitivities and his foster mom is moving him from chicken based food to Turkey based food. Coby has also had Knee surgery and has completed his surgical rehab and rehab exercises. He can now run like the wind!
Foster Comments:The first ten months or so he was kept as a hunting dog, but he had to have knee surgery and so he as surrendered to rescue. He would do better with an active household, as he is not a good couch potato. He might be too clumsy for family with humans or dogs with mobility problems.He loves his toys and could easily be taught to retrieve properly.
Coby needs a dog buddy in his adoptive home. He does not thrive as an only dog

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog
