Effective Date: 1/30/2018 Revised: 11/10/2024
Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue (A&BESR) provides English Setter adoption services to prospective adopters in the continental United States and certain provinces of Canada without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, culture, language, sex, sexual orientation, age, and mental or physical disability. The minimum age for an adopter is 21-years-old.
A&BESR retains complete discretion in adoption and placement decisions to ensure that our English Setters are placed in loving homes that will be permanent placements and the dogs are not put at risk. When making these decisions, the age and physical health of the prospective adopter, as well as the age and physical health of our English Setter, are considered by our volunteers to determine if the prospective adoption is approved. As a volunteer organization, A&BESR doesn’t have the resources to place our English Setters outside the United States and certain provinces of Canada.
