He loves to play, retrieving a toy, playing with other dogs, licking your face, arms, legs, etc. He loves attention. He will destroy a toy, so toys with no stuffing are best.Fence: Respects a fence, loves to play outsideMedical History: Remi is neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped.Foster Comments: Remi is very quiet and seeks to please. He loves chewing on toys and retrieving toys. He is very inquisitive and always wants to know what you’re doing. He loves to be with his human. He loves his foster dog sister Bella, and plays very well with her.He is a people dog so he likes to be near you. If you sit still, he loves to lay next to you, on your feet, and wants to be touching you. He will lay near you alone as well.He takes redirection very well in all areas. He has been allowed on furniture at his foster home, and he loves to lay with you. He can occupy himself for short periods of time, but would do best in a home with at least one other playful dog. A second dog will give Remi confidence and comfort in his new home.He does not seem interested in birds, squirrels, or other “prey”. He likes to play with stuffed animals and other toys, so your home needs to be "puppy proofed". But he does respond to redirection when touching something he shouldn't.Remi has been tested in many ways living in his foster home. His foster mom teaches a veterinary assisting class, which means Remi has been to public school, and exposed to approximately 75 students a day. He has been in several situations, including grooming, restraint practice, and playing with several other dogs while in class. He has attended baseball practice with his foster mom; and lives in a home with twin two year old girls. He loves his foster children, and follows them around like a "puppy". Remi has adjusted well to indoor living. He is isolated to a specific area in our home when we leave him behind, and has respected that space well. Remi will need some adjustment period with his new home, but will make an amazing family dog!Dog Location: Rock Hill, SCAdoption fee: $395.00
