LOKI

LOKI AB#19-060-3 – M, 10 Weeks

Foster dog name: Loki
Gender: male
Age: 10 wks
Size/Weight: 11 lbs
Color: black & white

Breed: English Setter mix. Mom is setter, dad might have been a pointer

Socialization/training: He is just a puppy so this is a work in progress but Loki does sit and will give paw as well. He does pick things up easily.
Good with Children: Yes, he has been around kids of all ages and just loves to play.
Good with Dogs: Yes, he gets along well with my 2 resident dogs and has played with several others. He is a puppy so they will play with anything.

Good with Cats: We do have a cat and he really just wants to play with her but she is not interested. Since he is a puppy I do not think there will be any issues.

House trained: Work in progress, typical puppy accidents. He goes outside every time we put him out and he will use pee pads in the house.

Crate trained: Loki is crated at night with his brother and there have been no issues. He like the crate and has gone in there to nap as well. He is not crated all day though as there is always someone home during the day.
Leash trained: No official training, Loki will walk on a leash but does chew it.

Activity Level:  Loki has typical puppy energy. He will play- play-play then he crashes and wants to nap. He does like to be cuddled when he naps so he will ask to be on your lap or find his brother Thor and cuddle up with him.

Fence:  Fence is always beneficial but since he is a puppy he can easily be trained to an invisible fence.

Behavior: Loki is a sweetie he loves attention and he loves to play. When he is tired he is a cuddler and loves to be with his people.

Medical History: Currently on heartworm preventative, and flea treatment. He has had his 2nd set of shots and deworming.

Foster Comments: Loki is a pleasure to have around. He loves to play with his squeaky toys, and plays tug of war with his brother. He is very sweet and playful. When Loki is tired he loves to cuddle. He does not seem to be as “birdy” as his brother Thor. Loki is loved by everyone who meets him and he loves getting all the attention. He seems to be picking up commands easily as well.
