Leash trained: yes but pulls so you may want to use a harness or gentle lead.
Activity Level: Leroy would make an awesome family pet. He is low key yet still playful. Quiet and very clean in his crate. Loves his cuddle time on the couch watching tv.

Fence: Leroy loves to go for walks but also enjoys a little romp around the yard. I would say if you have a dog park close by he would do fine with leash walking the rest of the time.

Behavior: Leroy loves people and other dogs. He is independent but does loves his play time and cuddling with his people.

Medical History: Leroy is healthy and up to date on his vaccines.

Foster Comments: Leroy is quite the happy go lucky character. Nothing bothers him. Life is just a big bowl of cherries with a dollop of whipped cream on top! Leroy never meets a stranger and would make a great companion for anyone.

Leroy and several other dogs that would not or could not hunt anymore at a plantation were surrendered to a shelter that contacted Above and Beyond to take. We are very lucky to have gotten this perfect gentleman! I know who ever adopts Leroy will enjoy this wonderful guy!

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog.
