Foster dog name: Hannah

Gender: female

Age: 2-3 years old

Size/Weight: 39 pounds

Color: white with black head and ears, black spot above tail, and black ticking.

Breed: English Setter

Socialization/training: Hannah is getting along well with her two foster siblings. She is very observant and watches them to know what to do. She is a calm dog who loves to shadow her people so that she is always nearby for an offered pet or cuddle. She is almost completely house broken and is learning basic commands: sit, stay, shake.

Good with Children: The foster home has no children, but this girl loves to please and will likely be great with children.

Good with Dogs: Yes

Good with Cats: unknown

House trained: getting there

Crate trained: yes, but not used at foster home

Leash trained: getting there

Activity Level:  Hannah likes to chase and retrieve a ball, likes to play with toys that squeak. She is quite laid back and calm for a young setter, but loves long walks and outside activities.

Fence:  A fence is required. Hannah loves to peek at the birds, squirrels and other animals. She enjoys the freedom of exploring the fenced yard and does not seem to want to escape. Four feet of height should be sufficient.

Behavior:  Hannah is quite attentive and loves to cuddle next to or on her people.

Medical History: Hannah is up to date on all of her vaccines, microchipped, is heartworm negative and has been recently spayed.

Foster Comments:  Hannah is one sweet baby who is patiently waiting for her forever home. She would love to meet your family soon.

Adoption Fee: $ 350.00

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000-mile distance between adopters & foster home.  If interstate transport is provided for your adopted dog, there will be a pass-through charge of $50.00 for the required Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (“Health Certificate”).   Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000-mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000-mile transport range or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog. Transports to far West states, from Eastern states, may have additional restrictions.
