Medical History: neutered and current on heart worm preventative and vaccines. He is missing most of his lower teeth, but can eat dry dog food.

Foster Comments:  Dexter is a cuddle bug who needs to have a stay at home person in his life. He is one special man and very loving. He does not know what a toy is, or what to do with one. 

He knows "sit". He will try to bolt when a door is opened to the outside, so special care is needed to keep him home and safe. he is still learning about being a family member and house dog and is sometimes uncertain if things are ok for him to do.

Volunteer transport can be arranged in the Continental US within a 1,000 mile distance between adopters & foster home. Typically, we are able to transport your adopted dog to within 2 hours of your home. *Dogs can be adopted outside the 1000 mile transport distance; however, adopters must be willing to either fly their adopted dog, drive to a location within the 1000 mile transport range, or make independent transport arrangements for their adopted dog.
