Behavior:  Buttercup is a sweetheart. She has an independence to her, but loves being with the group (dogs and humans). She listens to correction and she would respond well to any training she received. Buttercups enjoys any attention she is given and rests peacefully through the night.

Activity Level:  Buttercup is active: likes to run, is playful; enjoys walks, but still getting used to neighborhood environment (eg, reluctant to go by large trash cans). She does sit quietly when inside and likes to be with the human household members.

Fence:  Buttercup would be happiest if she is able to run at least once a-day. Leash walks would be ok, but couldn’t be the only exercise. She goes to a dog park and plays nicely with dogs she has encountered in this environment.

Foster Comments: Buttercup will make a lovely pet. She is learning basic commandments, responds well to correction, and is eager to please and be loved. She is comfortable with basic grooming (eg, brushing, nail clipping, teeth brushing). She may have been primarily an outside dog as she is skittish with common household noises, but adjusts over time and introduction to them (eg, we had a coo-coo clock and turned it off for the 1st week, but after that she was fine with the new noise).
