JACK AB#18-028

Gender: Male
Age: approx 3 years
Weight:45 lbs
Color: Orange Belton
Breed: English Setter

Good with Children: good
Good with Dogs: good
Good with Cats: good He pays no attention to the cat.

House trained: YES!
Crate trained: YES!
Leash trained: Needs work but he is a good listener. Better when walked alone and not with other dogs at once, he gets distracted.

Activity Level: Playful, he knows that inside time is time to relax and lay around/cuddle etc. Loves to run around outside

Fence: He needs his exercise. I would recommend a fence so he can run off energy.

Behavior: Very attentive, likes to be next to people. Will follow you to the bathroom, lay at feet when you get ready in the morning, lays by shower when you shower and cook, & sits at your feet etc. Loves to cuddle. Everyone that he has encountered has commented how awesome he is and how they’d love a dog with his temperament and attitude!

Medical History: Up to date on vaccines, neutered & microchipped.

Foster Comments: Jack is a very cool dog. He is one of my first fosters that I am having a REALLY hard time thinking we have to let go (but 4 dogs is too many for us). He just fit into the family as if he was always here. He stays in his kennel quietly, he’s honestly fine to not be kenneled but I like to be on the safe side if I’m not home. He sleeps in the kennel, will go in there during day to lay around when door is open.

He is smart, he knows he isn’t supposed to jump on furniture, and if you tell him “down” he will listen the first time. He will snuggle up really close to you and make you wrap your arm around him if you let him sit with you.

I still wouldn't pick up a bone from him when he is chewing on it etc. like I would with my 3 but his adopter will easily be able to build trust with him. He is a people pleaser.

Adoption fee: $300.00
