REMY

REMY AB#19-203 – M – 5 months

Foster dog name:    REMY

AB#: 19-203

Gender: Male

Age: 5 months

Size/Weight:   25 lbs at 5 months, will probably be 50-60 lbs. full grown

Color:  Black & White

Breed:  English Setter

Socialization/training:  Good with dogs.  He loves to play rough with my other two setters.  They wrestle for hours chewing on each other.  He will also try to get toys away from them if they have them.

Good with Children:  Unknown, but he is very good natured so I am sure he would be.  As a young dog I am sure he is too wild for little kids and would knock them down, especially if they have food.  He gets VERY excited at feeding time.

Good with Dogs:  Yes

Good with Cats:  He barks at our cat

House trained: Working on it.

Crate trained: No

Leash trained: No

Activity Level: Remy is a typical puppy and very playful.  He has A LOT of energy and needs attention.  He loves to play with balls and chew on toys.

Fence: Remy does well in our 4 foot fence we have not had him on a leash very much but he is very smart and I am sure he would learn.

Behavior: Loves to cuddle, wants to be where we are.  Remy will bond quickly with you and follow you everywhere you go.  He is a great helper with cleaning (stealing your towels) and loves to do laundry (relocates it all over the house) but he is learning.

Medical History:   Up to date on Vaccines, Microchipped, Currently treating for whipworms and round worms.

Foster Comments:  Remy is a wonderful puppy.  He came to us from a kennel and has done well at house training so far.  He loves to play with balls and our other English Setters. He is a counter cruiser and a chewer (especially shoes and blankets) so we have had to reorganize a few things in our home.  At the end of the night Remy will get in bed with us and sleep all night long.

He will be a great dog for a family that has time to give him attention and training.
