2013 -2025
With great sadness we are reaching out to inform you of the passing of our beloved A&B alum setter Sebastian.
We added him to our family in 2013 basically site unseen as all there was on his bio page was a blurry picture. His write up sounded exactly what we needed. Lucky for us your foster mom agreed. We had no idea what to expect but when he arrived he was the most beautiful pup I’ve ever seen. We had a lot of good years and happy memories with him.
About four years ago he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and the vet was not very optimistic. He gave us 1 1/2-2 years with him.
While he slowed down more and more in that time and spent more time on his couch we felt he was still very happy. The past few months he had gotten progressively worse. He let us know he was ready so we knew it was time to say goodbye.
He left us with love very peacefully with my husband and I with him. We softly sang him his Bass bass song that we used to sing to him when he would get scared of thunder storms, car rides and the boogie man.
He will always be in our hearts.
