2016 – 2026
Nala was a special addition to our family. She always kept us on our toes! We have many stories, and plenty of eye witnesses, of times when we hit the streets in search of Nala. She sure knew how to take advantage of any opportunity to run wild and free! Extended family even made signs for their doors to remind everyone to close them because “Nala’s in town”. Nala patrolled our yard and left a path along her favorite route. We even named the path! She is now resting peacefully beside it. On the few occasions she managed to catch something in the yard, she would give the bunny to her fur sibling. While traumatizing for the humans, it was neat to see them working together. For Nala, it was the thrill of the hunt, for Visby it was the prize. Nala was incredibly sweet, loved to burrow under the sheets, and would give little kisses. She was our snuggle bug. The couch will never be the same! Nala was a beautiful dog and would always receive compliments. It was a joy both to walk her as well as watch her run. She has left us far too soon. She was a gift and we miss her!
