Maggie (FKA Misty when adopted) left us at 9:10 am on December 20, 2025. We are heartbroken. She was perfectly heathy and active on December 1st enjoying the backyard of our new home and long walks in the nearby park. Lymphoma is not only deadly, but swift. She did not respond to treatment. Watching her health fail so rapidly was difficult. Maggie was perfect in every way – a social butterfly who loved everybody – and everyone loved her. Sadly, she will be our last ES. We are in our mid 70s and not able to take on another long term commitment due to the exercise needs of this wonderful breed. Our only comfort is that our little girl is now at peace. Thank you A&B for bringing Maggie into our lives. Maggie, the love and joy you brought to our home will never be forgotten.
