2015- 2026 Lana crossed the rainbow bridge on February 9, 2026. She was such a lovable dog. She loved being outside especially if there was a rabbit or 2 or a squirrel or in the rare instance a fox. She was mostly a couch potato inside except when she would chew her bones or “attack” them. She would sneak up on them and then bark and flip them up in the air. She would play the I took your spot game frequently. Even in the middle of the night. I get up to get a glass of water and I come back and she is laying where I was. She also liked to arrange her bones in a pattern when I wasn’t looking. She would make a perfect triangle or would arrange them in a path from the dining room to the front door in the living room. She loved people. Going to the vet was a social hour for her. One vet tech told me that Lana was the happiest dog she ever met and asked if she could take pictures of her for promotional purposes. She loved going to visit my parents and especially loved when my best friend came to visit. She had a special bond with her. Lana you will be missed by many but especially by me. I hope we see each other again some day. Love you always.
