Our beloved Kivu lost her battle with lymphoma in February, leaving a big empty space but many beautiful memories. She was an exceptional girl — sweet, gentle, brave, smart, loving, loyal. An inveterate escape artist, chaser of birds and squirrels, jumper of fences, climber of trees, lover of peppers and ice cubes, we miss and love her more than words can say.
