Our darling boy… With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Bentley as he crossed over the rainbow bridge on December 7. He was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was our sun, moon, and stars. He brought joy every single day, leaving us with the most beautiful memories of our time together over the past three years and three months. From his adorable “roos” and love of people to excitement at the prospect of a car ride, he brought so much happiness into our lives. We loved watching him stalk pigeons with admiring glances from passers-by, and his fondness for clothes, especially his red sweater. I will never forget his delight and wagging tail when I brought it home. We cherished our time together, enjoying walks, patio dining, and shopping trips. He was funny even when he was naughty. With a glint in his eye, he had a charming, mischievous streak; if he saw something he wanted, he just took it. Thank you to all at Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue for bringing this darling boy into our lives. He truly was a gift. Rescuing him is one of the highlights of my life, and he will remain in our hearts forever. He is deeply missed.
