Junior needs a forever home where he is the TOP dog and the ONLY dog in town. He is such a sweet gentle boy and has adjusted to living with 2 cats. Took him about 3 to 4 weeks to let them walk on him and to sleep on the same pillow. But he learned and now is a "friend" of Lucy and Ethel. He deals with my 2 dogs, Ozzie and Abbey. He definitely likes the cats better.
Junior is also blind in one eye. He is very thin but has gained about ten pounds since he was rescued. He doesn't run very much but he still likes to trot. He looks so good when trotting around my yard, like he is preparing for a big hunt!!!
He is a sofa bum. I can't sit down with having him jump up for a kiss and a rub. He is willing to stay as long as I am on the sofa. He needs a permanent place to call home where he can spend the rest of his life knowing that he is loved very much and his family will stay and take care of him no matter what happens.
This senior boy, 13-1/2 years old, is housebroken and crate trained. He is heartworm positive and unaltered, but will not be put through the trauma of the heartworm treatment or neuter surgery due to his age. He receives an injection once a month to slow the progression of the heartworm disease.
You can see what a great boy his is just by looking over his pictures. Please consider a senior citizen as you next best friend!!! He will show you alot of love.
