Bruno is a Beagle and English Pointer mix. He and
his mama, a lemon Beagle, came to us in the
summer of 2009, and Bruno was just a little guy at
the time. Mama got adopted, but we have not
found a home for Bruno yet. He is now (at New
Years) about 9 months old.
Not only is he gorgeous on the outside, he's
extremely affectionate, loyal and intelligent. He
stays in the yard, asks to go out (whether he's loose
in the house or in his crate). He comes when he's
called. We are just now starting some basic
obedience with him, but he's catching on fast and
enjoys the attention and interaction of the training.
He's a big, husky boy, but very gentle. He probably
weighs more than 50 pounds already. He gets
along with other dogs quite well. With cats, he
wants to chase if they run, but it appears to be
more in play than in a prey mode. If they sit still or
saunter by, he couldn't care less.
Bruno has been fully vetted, is heartworm negative
and on heartworm preventive. His adoption fee is
$200.
