Hello there… I’m Angie, just about the sweetest
orange belton, Brittany-Setter girl around these
parts. I’m an athletic girl at 55 pounds and I
have a great workout routine that keeps me in
top shape! (My foster mom says I’m one “hot”
little number). I love to play the day away
outside and will keep myself occupied for hours
throwing toys to catch and checking out all the
wildlife. I’m a birdy girl and like to play, “Point at
the bird, point at another bird, oooh, there’s
another bird, maybe I’ll give this bird a little bark,”
you get the idea. There are 4 ft chain link fences
and 6 foot wooden privacy fences here and I
don’t challenge them at all. When I’m ready to
come inside I pop my head up at the back door
window and give a little knock. My foster mom
gives me time on the treadmill as well and I love
it! See I told you I was an athlete, and at around
6 or 7, I’m in the prime of my life!
When I’m inside, I’m just Angie the Sweet Little
Angel, and I always use my manners. I am
housetrained, crate trained and I get along with
everyone at my house. I currently live with a wee
little Yorkie, a Wirehaired Terrier, a German
Shepherd (a BIG ol’ German Shepherd) and a
Portuguese Shepherd… and my foster mom can
definitely say, “Big or small, Angie gets on great
with them all.” I absolutely adore stuffed toys,
especially the ones that squeak and you can
almost always find me carrying one around with
me or gathering up a couple to take a nap with
me on my blanket or pillow. My favorite right now
is this little green frog that says, “Gribbit”
whenever I play with it. Now I ask, “What dog
wouldn’t just love a talking frog of their very
own?”
Since I believe in being honest I suppose I should
let you know that I’m not what people call cat
friendly. I just can’t resist chasing them… it’s
that prey drive thing. But in my defense, I’m a
Brittany-Setter; that prey drive is in my genes!
And, my foster mom says that while overall I do
pretty well when on a leash, I should keep
practicing my leash walking skills since I pull just a
little bit. I do respond nicely when I’m corrected
though.
A few words from Angie’s foster mom:
Angie is a delightful dog. She will make a
wonderful addition to an active family that’s
looking for a healthy, playful, and very loving
dog. She has a joyful spirit and constantly
reminds us that life should be enjoyed and that
there should always be time for play! She’s got a
wonderful, plush and silky coat with light
feathering and she hardly sheds at all! I can’t
help but smile every time I see her playing with a
toy or gathering up her toys when she wants to
take a nap. This sweet girl deserves a family of
her very own.
